ADDITIONAL DETAILS

All applicants must be over the age of 18. Applicants must attest that they are the sole owner to any intellectual property contained within this pitch. If awarded the filmmaking grant, the grantee may take a fee of up to 10% of the grant as compensation for time spent working on the film. The grantee will be required to work with Kilo Content on certain aspects of the film’s production, and the grantee shall agree to be available to the production during the production window of July 1 - December 31. (excluding holidays) Kilo Content will create production schedule to accommodate the grantee and complete primary field production by December 31, 2022.

The grantee shall be allowed to take a directing fee of up to 10% of the project budget (or, in other words, up to $2,500), however this is optional and they would also be able to defer that back into the film’s production budget. Grantees are not allowed to put additional funds towards the budget of the film.

This competition and any resulting grant will be subject to the Project Paradise Film Fund’s full terms and conditions, including, but not limited to, the grantor’s sole rights to the resulting film and any and all intellectual property developed in connection with the grant and this competition, and the limitation of liability for hazards and risks innate to the filmmaking and production process.

Third-party production crews must be approved by the Project Paradise Film Fund. Grantees working with a third-party production crew shall adhere to provided production guidelines, including but not limited to maximum crew wages, safety protocols, and approved imaging and sound equipment. Third-party production crews are responsible for carrying their own general liability insurance.

COPYRIGHT

It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure they adhere to Copyright regulations. Project Paradise Film Fund will undertake no responsibility for breaches of Copyright. If an award winner is deemed to have breached copyright with either audio or video footage they will face disqualification.
